Edible Organic Green Tea Pancake

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 4 to 5 minutes each
Yield: 12 pancakes

Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
½ cup sugar
1 tsp edible organic green tea leaves (ground)
2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 ½ cups milk
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
*Optional cinnamon

Directions:
Preheat sauce pan.
Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and ground edible organic green tea leaves.  Add sugar whisk together.  Add eggs, milk and vanilla.  Beat until smooth, using a soup ladle measure one ladle into hot sauce pan, let cook on one side and flip when bubbles slow down.  Remove from sauce pan and top with desired fruit topping (strawberry, blueberry compote or serve with warm maple syrup).
