Green Tea Infused Roast Parmesan Chicken

 

Green Tea

1 whole chicken (2-3 lbs)
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp paprika powder
1/2 cup edible organic green tea leaves
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 lbs potatoes

Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, Parmesan cheese, parsley and bread crumbs into a plastic bag or large flat tray. Drop chicken in bag or tray and roll until covered with the mix.

Oil the roasting pan lightly and place chicken in center of pan. Gently lift up the skin of the chicken and stuff edible organic green tea leaves with butter between skin and meat of chicken.

To prepare the potatoes, simply peel and wash them, slicing into quarts. Arrange these around the chicken and cover with the butter and remaining edible organic green tea leaves.

Bake covered at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, pour wine over the mix. Recover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
