Green Tea Ice Cream

Yield: Single serving

2 cups Half and Half (Mixture of one part milk and one part cream)
1 cup whole milk or almond milk
1 cup cream
1/2 cup sugar
3 tbsp green tea powder
1 tbsp edible whole green tea leaves
Pinch of salt

1. Freeze ice cream bowl for 24 hours.
2. In a medium saucepan, whisk together half and half or individual portions of almond milk and cream. Heat the mixture until hot but never boil.
3. Transfer mixture to the cooled bowl. You can keep it in the saucepan but it takes time to cool. When it’s cooled down, refrigerate the mixture until completely chilled.
4. Churn for 20-25 minutes in ice cream maker, according to manufacturer’s instructions. Transfer into a container and freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.
