Green Tea Vodka:
2 Tbsp. edible organic green tea leaves (ground)
1 cup Vodka
—–In airtight container add edible organic green tea powder and vodka, shake well to combine and let steep for at least 2 hours. (This can be made a day ahead)
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
—— Place sugar and water in small saucepan. Cook over low heat while stirring until sugar dissolves. Refrigerate in airtight container. May be stored for one month in refrigerator. (This can be made two days before needed)
Use coffee grinder to ground edible organic green tea leaves.
Fill shaker with ice, add green tea vodka, lemon juice, orange liqueur, rum and simple syrup; cover and shake up until mixed and chilled. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
NOTE WELL: YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE AGAVE SYRUP INSTEAD OF MAKING SIMPLE SYRUP. AGAVE SYRUP IS A GREAT SUBSTITUTE FOR SUGAR WITH LESS SUGAR CONTENT.
